It is not necessary to disassemble the screens before their processing. In fact, instead of manual dismantling, our process avoids employees being exposed to mercury vapours in CCFL tubes. ALR 3000© technology is under permanent negative air pressure so as to ensure a certainty of environment control and to protect the operating personnel around the machine. It is one of the safest technologies available on the market. The ALR3000 is equipped with a custom build carbon filtration system for processing air from the CCFL removal station.
The ALR3000 drastically minimises the risk of mercury exposure to employees by removing the CCFLs in the fully automated process. ALR3000© also removes one of the single biggest cause of accidents in processing LCDs manually regarding cuts and lacerations from the glass panel, as the ALR3000© removes this glass panel in the automated process ejecting the panel on a conveying system.
ALR3000© has been tested and against the WEEELABEX and EN50625 standards in an independent environmental assessment and has successfully passed all criteria.
